Ability to set horizontal and vertical convergeance seperately?

I imagine that it would have been possible to set horizontal and vertical convergeance separately. By horizontal convergeance I mean the distance at which bullet paths will cross each other in the horizontal plane, and by vertical convergeance I mean the distance at which bullet paths cross the aimpoint at the range set on the sight.

When I say I imagine it would have been possible, I mean mechanically, by setting the gun direction.

In what situation would this be useful? If you want your guns to have the same horizontal separation at different ranges (for example multiple nose mounted guns) but still intercept the aimpoint at a known range.

Will this be possible in Cliffs of Dover?

Yes. I saw a screenshot where you could adjust them separately for each gun.

Edit: here it is:

Question asked and question answered! Didn't expect that.

Interesting to experiment with such settings!

With the ability to set the convergence in this way, plus the feature of loading your own ammo belts, the "advanced" settings will really add a lot of strategy in being a successful fighter pilot.

Yeah us bad shots could adjust our guns for a shotgun spread :)

Based on the images we saw, it will not only be possible to change convergence for each gun - but also the type of ammo it will/can fire.
