Happy Birthday To You, Spit!

<Following announciation to be read with a crackling, scratchy 1940's BBC announcer accent, slightly nasal, while wearing handsome RAF pilot officer type fake moustache>

Yes, ladies, gentlemen. It's 75 years to a day for first flight of ol' Supermarine Spitfire! So please, give a big hand to the plane and the proud father, R. J. Mitchell :grin::grin:

Also, please let me be so bold as to direct You to the astonishing and moving story of the birth of one of the greatest airplanes in aviation history, which lies at YouTube, just a tiny click of Your mouse-device away.

All together now: Haaaaappy biiiiiiiirthday tooo youuu! Haaaaaappy birthday...

Weathers better here, and we have beaches where the water doesn't shrink your privates. I would like to visit England and see all the airfields/pubs where the pilots used to hangout and the IWM but afraid I would have to leave the wife at home as our itinerarys would serverly clash and give a whole new meaning to the "Battle of Britain" :)
