Setting up dynamic camera
Hello, I just got MoW:AS early this past weekend and played it a bunch despite not being able to freely adjust the camera with my mouse. Using the keyboard doesn't work in the heat of battle and takes away from the experience a bit, can anybody help me with setting it up right please?
Thanks. |
what mouse + mousesoftware are you useing?

Thanks for the reply,
I have a Wireless Logitech laser mouse with mousewheel + two addt'l buttons in middle (so I assume It's capable of doing what I want it to). Software: Logitech MouseWare Control Center v9.60.146 I hope that answers your question I really didn't know where to look other than My computer-->properties and device manager and don't have the box anymore. |
Bump. Would really appreciate it if someone could help me with this! Thanks.

Yeah well I don't see what significant things I can do from there. I checked the 'show on taskbar' from the control panel-->mouse options and now it's there -- it's just a shortcut to that anyways. Should it be set to anything other than autoscroll?
My mousewheel works in general things like browsers and folders but it seems like it stopped working in games specifically (i remember first realizing that I couldnt zoom in/out in CoH a year ago or something). Any ideas? |
i dont have logitech mouse - but i think you must change wheel function with other one in your software.

Any ideas of what to switch it to? It seems that the default is 'Autoscroll' which actually seems similar to the function I want to use in the game. Also, it seems that the options reflect a plain mouse and not a specific logitech mouse options panel. This should be fine but maybe there is something to that?

possible that work:

Yes! All it took was changing the middle mouse button to "Middle button" in options instead of Autoscroll (default). Thank you for that thread reference.
