New CoD screenshot?
 

When waiting for CoD it's nice to sit back and think of what we already have today instead...

IL2 still amazes me every time I take the time to fly instead of waiting for CoD ;) This screenshot was taken 10 minutes ago at UK Dedicated1 outside the Crimean coast gaining height for a bombing run... I realized it could as well be the British coastline and well - looks good enough for me at least ;)

Had a bit of problem finding the target but took Two tanks on the first pass and then two armoured cars on the second. Heading home I realized that I was chased and tried to escape in a hollywood style dive at 650 km/h by a Lagg on my way home... Tracers going all around and my sniper gunners got a lucky shot and he caught fire just as I passed the border home to safety at 100 meters. There where burning wrecks all over the runway so I landed with one engine smoking at the rightmost side of the track... Got to a full stop, shut down the engines and enjoyed being back on earth. Nothing special really to write home about - just another IL2 online mission...

Yeah, IL-2 can still look pretty darn good, especially for its age...
