Saving abducted Ternie in XT-23

Hi there folks,

is there any way to save Ternie from the Greys alive? Everytime i kill the pirates 3 hrimthurs spawn and blow the Walrus with Ternie onboard into pieces- ignoring all other ships.
And SAM tells me after jumping ti lidau that the InoCo ppl couldn't rescue her(followed by the funeral scene).

Any suggestions?:rolleyes:

If you go the InoCO story-line Ternie will die in this mission and theres no way to rescue her ... in all other story-lines Ternie will live after that mission.
