Common Enemy
 

I have been reading this forum for quite some time, and some of you may know me, others may not. I have been playing IL-2 for quite a while now and have formed good friends and friendships, and have met people that became friends and have "drifted" apart. This is my first post and I am sad to say it is about our "friend with no name".

Even though not all of us have got along because of this or that, it seems as though because of this persons blatant disregard for respect and etiquette, has brought us together. Across the bounds of dislikes and loyalties, too a united front against this common enemy. Not a war in fresh, but of words and unspoken tradition and understanding. A "war of words", if I can be so bold. I hope that this "person" will realize that we don't accept or tolerate this ignorance and that they will get wise to there situation. I just hope when all is said and done, and we go back to our squadrons, flights, or what have you. That we remember that we have gotten along at one point and i hope we can continue this common friendship as long as possible

pappy people have drifted as some of the best games have just came out recently and friends lists are dominated by black ops GT5 BC2 and a couple of other titles, it goes in cycles IL2 will pick up again soon lol wait and see :)

we have certainly had our disagreements in the past but we didn't subject each other to a daily dose of propaganda and hate mail, in pursuing this common enemy you have my support; Thats right 57 i'm dusting off my 109 and going hunting "shadowscum" is looking for you :grin:
