DX 9 won't go
 

Ok, honestly, not great with computers, but I'm tryin' to get the hang of this. So the problem is every time I click the shortcut a window pops up that says

ERROR: could not initialize DirectX 9 Renderer

Specs:
Mircosoft Windows XP
Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Computer:
Intel(R)
Celeron(R) CPU 2.53 GHz
1.00 GB or RAM

Sorry if there's anything missing. But I'd really like to play this game. Seems interesting. Little Help?

First, update your DirectX software using this link.

Well, I dowloaded what was on the page, what now? At least I hit the first download link on the page and ran it. But when I clicked the necrovision shortcut the error still came up.

Hmm, what is your video card? Necrovision requires a card that supports Shaders 3.0 (nVidia 6600, Ati x1600 or better).
