Any solution to the Direct 3D subsystem error?
I've read quite a lot about this error:
"C:\work\skyfallen\tbm\BMRender\rmode.cpp(5509 ): DirectX call failed: -1, -1, E_FAIL (An undetermined error occurred inside the Direct3D subsystem" and how the recommended suggestions do not really work. I tried turning off AA and VSync, for example, which probably allowed me to play an extra 10 minutes before crashing again with the same message. Is there no official response to this issue from the developers? Also, I bought the game from GOG.com and I've heard the Steam version also has this issue. Does anyone know if the boxed product also has this error? |
I don't know about the boxed version, but the version I just downloaded through Impulse has this problem as well.
