Need desert map Ideas
 

Hello, I'm in need of some good ideas for a North Africa scenario map ( including UK and Germany ) I'm wanting it to be a map in which you attack an enemy base. Any help would be favoured!:grin:

Caves with German artillery in them. Just a idea.

How about...
Theres UK stronghold somewhere...in desert...and you have 1 soldier,you need to infiltrate base,get all about it(number and positions of soldiers,maybe some documents,positions and numbers of tanks and artillery...),then:
1.you need to go back to your outpost,report all that to commander/officer/general and then you assault stronghold with tanks infantry artillery...(you can call reinforcements too)but theres fog of war,but positions of units you saw and reported to commander stay un-fogged...(similar to that soviet mission with kuznetsov,i think its called behind enemy lines)

2.You call artillery with radio you find inside stronghold,need to escape(you have ex. 5 mins to escape) and whole base goes BOOM!

how do you like idea(s)?

This is silly. Maybe a small guard tower in the middle of no where.

A large base like Tobruk for example. It would take a gravity bomb or two, or years of shelling for such a base to go boom. Minor sabotage for preperations of attack would be better but honestly, walls are not supposed to crumble to dust.

what about...You need to sabotage AA's in base and then paratroopers come...?

A good idea for a map but its been thought of before.

how about a german encampment which you have to attack with some elite british such as commandos and you have to destroy their fuel dump and fight your way off the map with enemy reinforcements swarming

that would be quite cool :) :) :)

Desert maps aren't really all that creative lots of flat open spaces ideal for tanks not so much for those who have to run.

Sorry, but more sand..

British vs Afrika Korps, its getting rather old. Do something more intresting, like liberation of Sicily, or Greece.
