SOW - Skins.

Would it be possible to get hold of the SOW skins, so that one can start skinning in preparation ??

It is nice to daydream about that, but Oleg has said that skinning in SoW will be much different than what we are used to in Il2.
There will be different layers that are used in game to generate the total effect, such as weathering, rather than a simple bitmap that we have to make the most of in Il2.

That sounds like overlaid layers that occur in-game.
I'm sure the 'base-layer' would be the same as in IL2, although somewhat larger.

Maybe Oleg is bringing out a game skin editor - hopefully

i think the skins will be fragmented, v ery fragmented. In the battle of Britain so much planes have yellow prints over the existing camouflage, but in different sections. if you research about German paints on Bob, you will found that some planes have se same camouflage paint and different covers of yellow.
so, the skins need to be fragmented. i think

Oleg has already confirmed that we will have an in game skin editor.
It will be much more intuitive than going into photoshop a few dozen times till we get the skin just right.
