Who is developing Assault Squad?
 

Men of War was largely developed by the Ukrainian developer Best way + art and design assistance from DMS.

But now Assault Squad is developed only by DMS, or with the help of Best way? I'm confused...

the engine and tech stuff is still by bestway I think. but all the scenarios, units, balancing stuff and graphical updates are by dms. all the game content is by dms. something like this

Essentialy these company were all involved in someway or other with the game 'Men of War',namely Best Way,505 Games,1c,aspyr & DMS,thats why they all had there own patch versions originaly,but 1c released there own stand alone game called Men of War Red Tide,& similarly DMS are doing the same with Men of War Assault Squad.;)

In short, Assault Squad and Red Tide are mods to Men of War.

Now that BestWay is out of this will managing the Assault Squad MP be better, such as a improved chat monitoring system or no rules at all?

:-/ Duno if this is good or bad. Less communication problems vs loss of quality people.


Though I hope and think AS will be good, high quaility, but it seems 2 "lose" the MoW touch...

I agree there. Granted its the same game engine, but it will feel different.
