i got greyhair but i keep getting blown up scripted in jew 3:-x.
when i got this game i thought it was a freeform game.
not this scripted junk.

worked fine for me, just dock greyhair when required and u might be just fine too

a patrol finds me and i then get a scripted death seen when i approach the trade station or the gate's.

I think I know what has happened to you.
Once you get greyhair and leave the system
don't fly away from the portal, hang around
for the group of MSF fighters to arrive and start
shooting. Once you beat them, greyhair tells you he has
a card that clears the ships rep, once thats done you get lead into the next
choice for missions. Trying to leave the system or dodge
the MSF will envoke that death script.

Oh yeah, When the option to warp to the mission system comes up press no, thats your freeplay right there visit as many systems as you want.;)
