simplest way:
copy mow_editor.exe or outfront_editor.exe plus all *.ddl files from MenOfWar into RedTide directory. (dont overwrite any file !!!) start copied *editor.exe from RedTide directory. |
Hi,
I'm trying to do what has been suggested above to make the GEM Editor work with Red Tide, copying over the GEM Editor from Men of War and the .dll files, however when I try it I recieve a message saying: Property "multiplayer/leave_unit/value" not found in class "DDA server" dda_parameter.h,38 ------------------------------------------------------------ > main Men of War: Red Tide Editor - v1.022.0 - editor 2009.02.04 12:43 - 0x007A636F As the post above advises not to overwrite any files, the .dll files I copied over had to be saved as copies in the Red Tide folder. Can anyone advise me what I'm doing wrong? Am I missing any files that also need to be copied, for example? Thanks in advance, CMc |
1. save all files from RedTide folder (only files - no subdirectory)
2. copy all files from MoW to RedTide - overwrite (only files - no subdirectory) 3. start mow_editor.exe or outfront_editor.exe 4. when dont work - delete all files from RedTide folder (only files - no subdirectory) 5. copy saved files to RedTide folder |
I've tried following the steps you provided, but I still seem to be having the same problem, thanks very much for your help though.

It sounds like its a patch problem. Try differant versions of the editor.
