patching game

i have windows 7 and cant get game to update to 4.08 or 4.09- anyone have any info on this??? thanks in advance

Could you supply a bit more information? Are you using the steam version of the game or the boxed product? I assume you've actually downloaded the patch and attempted to install it? (see sticky above)

On Windows 7, it's best to install the game in C:\il2 instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\il2 which is the default location. Windows virtualization can cause problems. Run the installer as administrator and do the same with all patches.
