Il2 meets STARWARS!
 

Last November a number of us presented StarWars paintings,that are to be used in a future Coffee Table Book on of all things Starwars…. Recently uncoverd sketches of original ( rejected concept,)finish ( as was shown last Autumn) is on the bottom...The reason I am posting them here is as you might have guessed I used Il-2 FB PF1946 for screenshoting views of the aircraft seen in the first sketch.Sometimes its just as interesting to show what wasn’t used…

Very impressive indeed :) Also a great Star Wars fan. The TIE Fighter is sitting on my computer desk, reminding me from times in Star Wars Galaxies BEFORE the damned "NGE" and other crap. Trying to find somewhere TIE Interceptor, Darth Vader's TIE Advanced prototype and TIE Bomber..sigh..So hard to find.

Better yey find the Me-163 & Flash Gordon's ship!
