Blank Screen

i have a completly black screen if i play the game in 1280x1024 ? it was working fine in that res up untill today? any solutions ?

Solution - backup your saves and reinstall the game. Then set ALL the TGA files in the BMP\HUD\sub-folders to read-only.

ive just tried reinstalling the game and it works fine now in 1280x1024 but im getting a black screen on the shop now so i can sell or buy stuff ? any ideas ?

It's the same problem, different file. And the solution is the same, reinstalling and setting all the TGA files in the subfolders to read-only. This means the 1280x1024 folders especially, since you're using that resolution.

Yep, RAS is right.

the reason why u have black market screens is because u didnt erased all the files. after uninstalling the game check the folder if everything is gone. I had this once and I also deleted my saved games. Idont care if i have to play it once more, quite a nice game so a replay is just a good training and prolongs the play time :-P
