Question about defense
 

I'm noticing something strange in my current battle. My archdemons have a base defense value of 66. My hero's defense is 19. After I cast level 3 stoneskin on them, their defense shows to be 76. What am I missing? :confused:

EDIT: It appears that for some reason archdemons enter the battle with a defense of just 52?! No idea what could be causing this. The rest of my army consists of green, red and black dragons, and cyclops.

Are you playing on a snowy arena? I think the demons had some penalty on snowy arenas.
