I split my time between this game and Modern Warefare 2....but i dont have many friends from IL-2. So its hard for me to play when i want to. I primarily play on Realistic, but i will play Sim if I have to.

I play in all modes, on the X-Box 360, though arcade is the only mode (pre-long awaited patch) to allow all the true historical dogfight aerobatics to be performed without coming to grief.

Realistic mode's physics are even more unstable and screwed up than simulator, so I prefer to fly either arcade or simulator.

Basically though, folks not used to peforming complex aerobatic stunts should stick to simulator mode and folks who don't have quick reactions and steady hands on the controls needed should stick to arcade mode.

You'll find me in all modes on the X-Box 360.

Historic aerobatics?? lol I think if the game only had arcade mode, the game should have been called Su-31 Birds of Circus instead. Ive never ever seen WWII warbirds at shows do instant stunts like you can in arcade with huge surplus of power in WEP, this is reserved for super light aerobatic aircraft and hugely powerfull jets only.
