Stalling after battles

Hi all, this game worked fine up until I went into demonis, after every battle the screen freezes with the green bar working its way round the circle, flickering and then freezing. any ideas?

Windows vista home premium
3.00GB RAM
32 bit operating system
Intel core 2 duo CPU
