Is it weird that sometimes sales like these make me want to buy games I already have? Like, for a fraction of a second before I realize how dumb it is?

I think it is the same more reasonable reaction that I get when I find a nice piece of hardware or sale of foodstuffs. Except owning the same software twice is almost literally meaningless.

Hmmm i have an original copy of KBTL, but i think i buy it once more because this copy is localized (i'm from Hungary) but i don't like the translated games.

Very nice offers indeed though for sure!

WOW!!! This is almost like giving away for free. My dinner cost around USD$10. I can't believe this deal. I already bought the King's bounty gold for $45.

How can Steam sell below retail price? This is ridiculous offer.

its normal. its not only for KB, its for all games. Its new years sale of last year games .. polish publishers do the same with their box copies.

That price is just crazy!

This is one of the few games I don't regret paying near full price only to see it drop a few weeks later :)

The sad thing is this makes me think that that sales have not been very good and so we won't see any mroe KB games :(

Not at all true. Steam sales are done by valve to draw more customers TO STEAM. This means making popular games cheap, so they can get references like this one from Penny Arcade .

Remember, that Steam wants you to invest in ANY steam game, and has little overhead for games they sell there. I think it makes most sense to make a big sale of a game right AFTER it has done well, then because it is not selling at all.
