Strike-MP?
 

hey everyone,
I was trying to find some nice Strike-mode games, as it sounds like a very fun and compelling idea to me to fly those with up to 16 players, but when I was looking for a game the other day, there was simply nothing.

Now, granted, the online population (I'm on XBL) is far from great, but all I could find at any given time were dogfights... is there an explanaition for this? Does Strike mode actually suck? I really have no clue and would like to hear some opinions on this, otherwise I would suggest to start one of those tonight! ;)

But seriously, is it only because so few are flying online that it does not make sense to open up those games? I mean, I'd love to take a rusty Ju-87 on a target dive-bomber style! After all there is no sense in flying bombers except for strike mode...

If you jump into a random Strike match it's generally full of assnecks who purposefully imbalance the sides with B-17s etc.

If you're in a Strike lobby and you see no one else has a B17...don't fly the B17. It's almost as bad as flying the IL-10 in a dogfight or TDM.

Strike games were mostly what was played at first because everyone wanted the B17, then once a fair few unlocked it things got a bit strange as the B17 would just bomb everything.

Finding a strike game shouldnt be to hard though becauase people still want the B17 so go for games trying to unlock it. Its a good game mode to play when you have a good group of guys :D usually one or two B17's with fighter escort makes for a great game.

If you want to use the JU87 then try capture the airfield ;) you'll be amazed at how well it does!! As soon as anyone touches down a patrolling JU87 will just go into a vertical dive and wipe them out. A great plane for defending an airfield.
