Cyrillic fonts
 

Hi, I know Russian but I have bought my copy of Men of War from steam. Problem is, that it cannot read Cyrillic fonts, so instead of Russian letters I get some strange mess. Is there a way to fix this? Like I did here for Red Orchestra (just some random fix that made it possible for the game to decipher Cyrillic instead of only Latin).

Can someone with the Russian version of men of war send me their "localization.pak" file? It lies in the main folder of men of war.

no !! changeing localization.pak dont have any effect with cyrilic letters in multiplayer lobby.
i think y need russian MoW executable. :confused:

I use the multiplayer exe to play men of war patch 1.6

But wouldn't putting a Russian exe into Men of War **** up the rest of the game?

I have the same problem. I can't read Russian without the cyrillics or type it with English letters, I learned English differant then most people.

no, my problem is that I can read cyrillic Russian and type Russian with English letters, but problem is that my game cannot read cyrillic letters

and unfourtenatly there is nothing that I could do? :-/ Because vast majority of people write on Russian there.

oh srsly is there nothing i can do??? there has to be something

ive tested dif. ways - nothing happens. :(

tested:
- installing patch with russ. lokalization.pak
- added russ. languagepack for windows7

not tested:
- installing original russ. game
- using russ. proxy-server for internetconection

I'll check it with Best Way. Maybe they can advice smth.

Does the Rus patch include Russian multi-player exe?
