After reinstalling the game when I try to login to multiplayer I get an error saying that my profile already has another key bound to it even though I had been using the same account with the same key for months before reinstalling.

I contacted Direct2Drive support because that's where I bought the game:

Now what do I do?

What's your login in Gamespy? I'll try to ask the devs from Best Way, maybe they know the solution.
