Planes for a BoP sequel

This may have been covered in a previous thread but I think these bombers would be worthy additions to a BOP sequel:

De Havilland Mosquito
Avro Lancaster
B24 Liberator
B25 Mitchell
Dornier 217
Junkers 88
Petlyakov 2

Not sure about fighters, the Tempest is the only one that comes to mind.

I would like some transport aircraft in the sequel. I had an idea about a capture the flag type mode where you have to drop paratroopers over the target to capture it. Oposing team also have paras and it's a race to keep enough paras on the ground to keep the target held.

That's very cool. Have the transport AI controlled (it just flies between base and target, or respawns after a time) and all players flying escort...

+1

That's a great idea. Horsa gliders would be cool too.

Yeah some towed gliders too would be great. The way I envisaged this it could be like a CTA and Strike merge. Once the Paras are controlling the target you have tickets and bombers can reduce them out or opposing Para landings. All the while some team members are fighter cover and interceptors of opposing bombers/transports

I think it would really open the scope out for some great tactical, not to mention hectic, multiplayer

I'd also like the ability to man AA guns on airfield approaches, and strike targets on land and sea.

That rumor's been going around, but I haven't been able to find a quote about it.. Can't remember if any of the devs confirmed it or it's just a rumor.

Why do people always underestimate the Il-4?

Oh, right! Because they haven't flown it.
