I've had my Altimeter reading 1 over the sea, but I couldn't tell you if it's in feet or metres.

And once I was buzzing the streets of Dover then parked my engine halfway up a lamp post on the sea front. It actually made me jump because I didn't see it until I hit it.

Lowest ive flown is zero. I actually had one wingtip brush the water on the dover map, of course on arcade mode though.

If you do that in realistic or sim you cartwheel - it looks awesome :)

I've also broken my prop in water. Several times :evil:

I've touched ground in sim a couple times and survived. One on land, one on water.
