Oleg, is there any chance of moving the dev updates back to once every two weeks?
I'm not sure I can take the sudden increase in number. We've gone from clusters of three updates every eighteen months to this very high rate.
I'm having this sudden urge to jump out of pots and hop in circles - which can't be natural. |

Off with the blasphemer's head! :P

Easy - just come here once every 14 days and leave us the fun.

Everyone whines for 2 years about updates, not a word for months on end.
Oleg responds, now we get this. It is either too funny or nuts , which is it? |
A blessing on you all :D

Hmmm I seriously doubt that saving 15 minutes a week that might take to post those weekly updates will help to give us an earlier release. I vote for continuing with the weekly updates unless there is nothing to show of course. Those who want updates every 2, 3, 4 weeks... just don't watch them weekly, and as somebody said before, just come every 14 days or so and watch whatever is posted.
Weekly updates are also useful, helping the devs know the ideas that the users may give during the development process. So, I don't see a reason to stop the weekly information. |

They're weelky friday updates. So, they should be posted friday, at every week. If you want, just check them at every two weeks, and let the rest of us be happy  . Now seriously, why the hell people love to complain so much? First, there was that "we don't have enought updates, Oleg hates and ignore us, the world conspires against SoW, it would only be released at 2040 to celebrate the 100 anniversary of BoB" talk. Then they Oleg recovers from illness and start updating. And now you're comlplaining about this too?! To me, it works just like this: "Let there be whining. And there was whining." |
