Cant load saved games

When i try to reload a game i have saved, when pressing the "load game" icon on the menu, a error message comes up with "exception" and then closes the game. Ive had the game for about 3 months and has just started doing this.

Any help would be apprieciated, it is extremely annoying as i cant stop a game half way through.

Exception is "SDL file"
