Your face in Storm of War: Battle of Britain!
 

Hello gents,

You've all seen WIP our pilot model that Oleg posted last Friday:

The most WIP aspect of it is the head. It's just a placeholder that won't make it into the final game.

We were walking desk to desk today looking for faces we could use for our final pilot models, but as it turns out, there just aren't a lot of British- or German- looking faces in Moscow.

So, we turn to you. We need some typical British, German and Italian male faces, for now. We'll select two of each, make 3D models and textures based on your unique features, and place them around our planes.

Obviously, these would need to be faces of young healthy men of around 18 - 24 years of age, i.e. the kind of people that would historically be seen in WWII cockpits.

For now, if you're interested, just post a portrait of yourself. If you're shy, you can email it to me at lutheir1@gmail.com. We'll select the faces we like, and take it from there. We'll probably do the final selection by the end of the day on Monday. Once selected, we'll need two or three high-quality close-up photos of your face: profile, head on, and probably 3/4.

[Edit] Don't forget to specify your nationality, just in case.

Warning: we reserve the right to pereodify your appearance - give you a 1940s haircut and / or facial hair, funny glasses, etc.

The average age of pilots in Battle of Britain was higher than 22.
I think 26, but resources vary from 22 to 26, therefore I think you should be looking for faces in between 22 and 32 years old.

Sure, if you have some good clear ones, and you have a recognizable face - why not?

Anyway, if not for your guys' criticism and incredibly high standards, we'd never have become what we are. Keep it up!
