Sky Crawlers is a great manga flick. Love those action scenes.

I just got that anime. I haven't watched it yet, but now I have more motivation! It's actually based on a Wii game by the Ace Combat guys that's so far a Japan exclusive. :( (not that I have a Wii, anyway)

its both, but for the movie, its just best to watch the two combat montage, alot of philosophical stuff in the move.

It's not really a Shiden. All the planes in this anime are fictional, since it's set in a different universe.

I was never a fan of anime, mostly because I never really understood it. But didn't rag on people who did. But I like this. Kinda cool, the fighters. Obviously the maneuvers are created for looks and such, but it was cool. Didn't really understand it, but it was cool.

The twin engined planes sorta remind me of a Gloster Meteor if it was equipped with props rather jets?
