"Master of Acrobatic Flight" Tips

What is the quickest and easiest way to get "Master of Acrobatic Flight" (The Achievement)? Like what maneuvers will be easiest to do, what are the specific qualifications for each one...

Also, so far the only ace card I've gotten is for a barrel roll. I know how to perform the immelman, Split S etc. but I can't seem to get recognition?

Do it in training, its much easier that way. I personally used a 109 to do it on realistic as it was much easier to keep from stalling with a wee reduction of elevator sensitivity. Plus the good roll rate means that its simpler to complete the manouvers.

All manouvers should be started while in level flight, and should be executed precisely. For example, the immelman must be started with your wings level. When your in the half loop you must stay perfectly straight as any deviation would not count. When you complete the half loop you must roll the aircraft back perfectly level again to complete the manouver for an Ace Card.

Practice the same move till your 100% confident you can do it every time. Then simply use the same technique on the other ones.

You must do all of in the same flight.
You must keep your wings level during these maneuvers, and don't use your rudder. I used the FW190 to do it. I did loop, roll, immelman, split S.

Here is the thread and the video to explain it.

Don't forget the hide in clouds card.

I don't think that's true.

Not sure if that counts. I know I didn't do it when I was going for the achievement though..

@mattd
Be sure you have enough speed when you start the manouvre. If you start them too slowly they might not count.

Well I didn't get the trophy until I did them all in the same flight. I never could get it until I did them all and the hide in clouds.

You dont have to do it in one flight.

You dont need hide in the clouds

just: split, loop, immelman and barrel roll.

Haha, they mean AEROBATIC! You can't have acrobatic planes!

Gotta love foreign translations.

not sure about that - i'd completed the maneuvers required countless times in many flights but never got the cheev but did them all in 1 training flight (as shown in the vid clip) and lo and behold - cheev.

also, add the stall spin to that list.
