Title Update Questions

Hey guys,

Sorry for the noob post but I own and play only 3 games in total (mostly online) and frankly am no expert in how the online works, actually the il2 demo was the first download from the PS store that I ever did. So...

1) How will we know when the title update is done? I ask because after reading all the complaints about people crashing on purpose I'm finding that if I do damage a guy bad enough and he eventually crashes I seem to almost always get the kill?! I've also had several black outs where the screen gets dim and I lose my hearing? So have these already been addressed?

2) How will we know when the German cockpits will be added? I'm finding the 109 series suits me perfectly but cannot use them as I find both currently available views disorienting.

3) How will we know when the TA152 and P47 will be available for purchase?

Thanks!

1.) Because when you turn on your console and go online it will tell you there is an update and ask you to apply it to the game.

2.) We will know when or if they are released because the team will tell us so. Anton already mentioned they intended to try and have the 109 cockpit added in a proposed DLC pack that the team is hoping to make available sometime around october with any luck.

3.) They are currently on available as pre-order or system specific aircraft. There has been no word on any change to this, however; In recent trends of updates for games, many developers are releasing pre-order only extras as free content at a later date. So the specualtion is that in BoP these planes may become available later, although this has never been confirmed or denied.

The blackouts sound like...blackouts...

Blackouts are gonna make such a big difference.. remember in 1946 how I'd be looking at my six in 3rd person when somebody would be there, and without noticing get a major blackout, making me unable to control anything -> crash.
Good times :)

Huh? I'm aware they're blackouts but I had heard that they were not in the game so I'm wondering if the fact that they now are means that have already done some work on the game?

Well, I've blacked out in an Me-163, I think a Spit and one other plane but I forget what it was.

They have always been in the game... but you the threshold was 10x higher than normal. So, in the non-updated game, you CAN get a blackout, if you really try to get one :P.
Once the game is updated, you will get them, litterly, 10 times as easy as now

And no...there is no update yet ;), try to follow this link:http://forum.yuplay.com/index.php?showtopic=13
I suppose the date of the title update will be announced there, as soon as they know what it is going to be

Awesome thanks!

Actually this should also do away with some of the ridiculous turning fights that are happening even in realistic and sim, man these blackouts/redouts are essential to the realism, I hadn't really thought about the over all effect...
