How Are You Guys Beating the Hornet's Nest Mission?

I just can't do it. I shoot down wave after wave, but run out of time before they reach their destination. I have tried the mission over and over with the sam results.

The IL-2 was also a very poor choice for this mission. The thing is a slow lumbering ground attack/support aricraft.

Anyone have any tips on how to complete the mission? I seem to be the only one having trouble.

FWIW I am on the 360.

Thank you for the link very much! After reading, I beat it on the second try!

Once I dispatched the 152's I hit the deck and the 109's flew past. I then took out the airfield.

Thanks again for the help!

I will continue to post here as I love this game.
