Does EVGA have exclusive to new PhysX patch?
 

EVGA is giving away free copies of Cryostasis if you buy one of their video cards and it already has the Physx patch built in. Yes they already have had it for a week now. Check the links. Is it going to be released for people who already purchased the game or is it an exclusive to EVGA? Or is the exclusive for a limited time?

It will be released for public use, but a bit later. The exact date is not confirmed yet.

So the patch is ready - available to a selected few - and nobody, including the admins - can tell everybody else (whose hard - earned cash is sitting pretty in the company's account) - when they will be allowed to have it?

Whoever is responsible for public relations should be sacked.

What improvements will the pacth bring into the game???

It will bring new PhysX features. Like in the PhysX demo.

So the ATi performance improvements will be a different patch?

So let me get this straight: first, you promise a patch to improve performance months ago and so far, it's nowhere to be seen. Then you come up with another patch to incorporate more physx features. Then you make that patch only available to an "elite" who buys a card from EVGA, with others getting it later. All this while the poor bastards who STILL can't run the game decently are waiting for the so-called performance patch, which was promised MONTHS ago.

Is this how 1C usually conducts business? Because if it is, then I'll think twice the next time I buy a product from them

this is outrageous! :mad: we get a wink and a promise, and if you buy evga video card you get the driver.:confused: THIS IS WRONG!

This is definately frustrating. The way that 1c has dealt with this is quite irritating as someone who bought the game and would love to play it how the developers intended.

I registered just to comment on this..

I pirated the game and because I liked it so much AND based on the fact that I checked out the forums and heard a patch was on the way I went out and bought a legal copy.

Never again will I buy a 1C game if this is how you treat paying customers.

I should have just kept my money and played the cracked game.
