Can't get scroll from magus
 

I am assuming the magus near byridge is the one that gives the scroll for the keeper summoning ritual but the only option I have when I speak to him is to ask about the Champion Sword and he says he has never heard of it in his life. Is there anything I have not done maybe to get him to speak to me? I read something about taking the lady near the healer in byridge to him also but there are no options to speak to her either. I have a total of 11 guards in byridge now so they are well equipped to handle the constant attacks by monsters.
