Space Rangers HD won't start on steam or from GOG

Hi, after installing Space Rangers HD from steam or separately after buying it on Gog and installing as well it simply won't launch. Each time after clicking the icon it simply flashes the screen black then white then crash to desktop.

Anything I can do?

Running it on Windows 7, 64 :confused:
