Spitfires versus Jets
 

BACKGROUND
No. 401 "City of Westmount" Squadron RCAF, originally No. 1 Squadron, was a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) fighter squadron that flew alongside the Royal Air Force during World War II and is notable for having fought in the Battle of Britain.
On 5 October 1944, a squadron patrol met a Messerschmitt Me262 jet and shot it down, the first victory over this type credited to either the RAF or RCAF.

FEATURES
During this dynamic campaign you will fly Spitfire F. Mk. IXc (Merlin 63). Actually, No.401 Squadron was flying Mk.IXB at that time (L.F. Mk.IX powered by Merlin 66). Unfortunately, this latter is not included in the otherwise vast inventory of Spitfire variants of the game.

This campaign has been built and tested with stock 4.12.2m. It should work, though, with any stock or modded version from 4.10.1m onward.
