I love SR series and hope HD version sells well.

However, I'm slightly upset previous versions weren't as popular in Europe and US as they deserved, and really hope this time it will be different.

There's something that some developers/publishers do these days - give free copies to popular game critics who then upload youtube recordings, which, in case of a good game, heat up public interest quite a lot.

For example, this guy has over a million subscribers and does well in open world games.

All the best,

Lar (Larian) has an interesting blog on this subject. While he generally agree with the suggestion; he also notes that some effort has to be taken to find reviewers who will likely give good scores (i.e, do not provide strategy games to people who normally review adventure games :) )

Thank you for a reply.

Cannot agree more.

That's why I suggested a reviewer who does open world RPGs well, however that was just an example.

I think with SR2 being this good it's relatively safe, as long as person does roleplay games and doesn't mind turn-based gameplay.

Here I posted a suggestion, but it didn't get many upvotes.

Well, where would he get the game if he doesn't have it yet? They pulled the Space Ranger games from pretty much everywhere, I imagine in anticipation of the HD release? It hasn't been on sale for ages now.

They'd have to provide it for him to be able to let's play it.

That's annoying, I know what you mean!
Though, amazon has few physical copies left.

Is it ok to bump on this forum?

My suggestion is still valid.
SR:HD deserves more sales.
