Take off shudder
 

Hi guys,

I fly in IL-2 v 4.12.2 HSFX v 7.0.3

The game has run without any hitches for months but just in the last week or so a strange thing has crept in.

When taking off (in any plane) as soon as I get to about 45 mph the plane gets a violent shudder and I lose rudder control until I'm airborne.

It's almost as if the tailwheel lock suddenly turns itself on.

Any ideas what could be casing this?

I have the same problem. I have no control over the rudder until I get off the ground. I tried just about everything to try to have rudder control on take off. This was happening with all versions. Also if I set the autopilot on course it will not work. It is like the rudder does not response to the autopilot. Mode 22 works fine.

LOL I'm glad somebody else has had the problem, I was starting to think I was losing it.

The good news is however, that, dare I even say it, the problem seems to have gone away on it's own.
