Can't get Space Rangers 2: Dominators to start on windows vista
 

Hi guys. Hope this place is not as dead as it seems.

Loved SR 2 back in the day, but now it won't run due to starforce not supporting my windows!

I vaguely remember there was a patch for removing starforce from the game but I can't find anything like it anywhere.

I already bought 3 boxed copies for cheap to make sure I always have one, I don't want to buy the updated version (and in the past the rebalancing had ruined the game, original is best by far when it comes to gameplay). Also I don't really use steam or anything like that and don't want that cancer on my computer.

Does this thing exist? Tell me I have not wasted the day in vain trying to get this thing going.
