Yes is a hard battle; I used the forest "tunnel" as help.

till now my hardest battle was the last english campaign battle but now Bouvines is the hardest. thanks for your help

am i too weak in this game or this battle is impossible? i tried every single tactic i could think about!!! killing the enemy's leader is not effective and using swamps to slow down the enemy or even the forest roads didn't help me. i tried to move my army to the other side of the bridge in south and defend my position there, but before my troops could reach there, the enemy cavalry attacked my forces, i tried to fight back by my cavalry and it was effective but due to heavy casualities, my army was so weak to defeat the enemy.

Me too I fight at least 10 times this battle before win, and I win with heavy losses

persoiranian 11-04-2009 10:36 AM

even the bridge tactic will not work. i think i will give myself a break and play another battles before returning to it once more.

just finished the Bouvines. score: 132, after playing more than 10 times

mitra, any recommendation about the second battle of the mongolian campaign please? your experience is always useful ;)

mitra 11-17-2009 07:25 PM

For the mongol battles the success key is only one, use at better you mounted archers, fragment the enemy formations and hit them when separate.

persoiranian 11-18-2009 07:05 AM

i'll try to hit them by my mounted archers and then use my heavy cavalry. the enemies are just too much in this.....
