Is this the end of 7.62 for me? Crash

I am getting a non-start for 7.62. A gray window by Aiperion pops up saying my program has done something nasty. That's it. I uninstalled, redownloaded. And reinstalled. It tested OK for the config setup, but asked me to restart my computer after installing the game and didn't work again.

I haven't played it for months, now a re-install won't even work.:(

I would uninstall: find the 1C folder in your program files (depends on what operating system your running) and delete the folder, turn off anti-virus/firewall (disconnect from internet first), reinstall, and if your running Vista or higher change compatibility settings to run with Windows XP service pack 3. Also, once the game is installed maybe your firewall or AV is blocking it. Set the E6exe. to be recognized as a trusted file. Also, when you reinstall, create an empty folder, choose custom installation and install game in that folder rather than the default.

I am not guaranteeing success, but that is what I would do. I have successfully installed the game on Windows 7.

You totally put me on the right track. With the xp compatibility  It was actually run as administrator. Been a while since I ran into that, never thought of it. Thanks

I got a problem which i seem unable to solve properly. No matter what I do I get CTD's (the one with womens motorcycle jackets the message that the program has done something bad and the security program kills it). And i want to check if anyone here know a solution to the problem
