Hello, question: I bought the first Theatre of War game. Can I patch it to the Uber patch or it will be released? Thank you.

I'm not sure when/if centauro will make it to Gamersgate, it's a fairly small expansion so there's probably not much demand for it.
However if you want to avoid Steam you could always buy it direct from Battlefront - They offer digital download or boxed copies and at about the same price as Gamersgate would charge. (judging by the other ToW titles at GG)

As for Steam, they are generally cheaper when it comes to DD because they're such a big name and they can afford to drop their prices in order to get more customers.
Which they've demonstrated by adding a Theatre of War collection pack for $45:

I'm not a fan of Steam either but if i didn't already have all 4 titles i'd be tempted.

yeah, that's what I did. got kursk and centauro from battlefront. realised the reason they are more expensive on gamersgate is just that, published by battlefront on there and not 1C.

Got the entire package !, 2 afrika + dlc and kursk.

Africa (first one i choose to start from) keep asking netframework everytime u start the game, and more it often crashes during loading.

Quite sad, because the game is awesome. :(

I'll see if Kursk will be a bit more stable ...

Tried Kurs for 20 hours more or less.
Stability issues greatly affects the game.
Dunno if it happens only with Steam version, but it crashes both ingame or during loading previously saved games.
I must stop playing it, and it's a shame because i find it very enjoiable.

Gualty, what are your system specs? When it crashes? I play ToW games (Steam versions) on my home PC sometimes and i didn't encounter crashes.
Post the contents of the file log.lst (it is located in the game folder) here (make sure you do this after the crash, since the game overwrites this file on each launch).

Id like to add that im also having problems with theatre of war 2: kursk. I am also a steam user. I constantly have runtime errors and freezes and crash to desktops. I am also disappointed because I love the game also! I also downloaded the package africa + kursk + dlc and oddly enough I played through the Africa campaigns with out freezing once. No problems at all.

It's strange since engine in ToW2 games is almost the same. Did you see my post in Steam forum about running the game on a CPU with more than 4 cores, maybe it'll help you as well?
