The reviews look good and I am pretty sure modders will love to add new or improve the existing buildings/heroes/upgrades/ai.

Yes, Majesty 2 is modable, it uses the GEM engine what is used by Men of War.

What would be the proper format to mod, since there is not a nice load mods option?

I would like to work on a campaign not a single user mission.
