Time for the next patch?
 

Hey guys. I've been so excited in my waiting for the next patch (2.2.6) for about a month now. But no patch is coming.. :(
When will it be released? And are there any hints about what improvements that will come?

I was under the impression that a patch was coming in a matter of weeks. That's just software development though, you can never know. But yes, communication would be good.

Yeah.. well they said they were working on it. I really hope they haven't/won't drop this project (game). It's really good, and considering that they have some great companies to keep up with, they are doing really well. It just needs some improvements. Altough, I can barely wait for the next game, hopefully even better! :-P

Remember that devs had christmas two times - catholic and 2 weeks later orthodox with a new year in meantime. It's hard to get back to work after such time :rolleyes:.

Hahah ;D Ye lets hope they had a nice Christmas/New Year/Second Christmas. But honestly.. I can't wait.. give me that new patch... :D I dont want to crash any more

I would also like to know when 2.2.6 patch will be released. Keep getting the dreaded "access violation" crash on my first battle.

Patch 2.2.6 is in the works, precise release date is not set yet.

The patch will address crashes some players are experiencing on certain software/hardware combinations. They appear to be more frequent on Vista and deve;opers are currently finding out the problem.

Will Quest triggers be overhauled too? I restarted the game and the my 'Crossing the Ford' quest bugged yet again.
And i've had it happen with other quests too.
I like the game, the atmosphere and gameplay are great but the fact quests get stuck so much makes it tedious at best. So until a patch is out i'm afraid i'll have to set this one asside. And I find it a darn shame as so in essence i think a good job has been done on the game and the subject matter.

Please get rid of that annoying campaign map slowdown, when armies get near their destination.
