How to make Il2 1946 works on W10?

Hi,

I tried to install Il2 1946 on my new computer, but it doesn't work.
Everytime it launch the game, it crash right after.

Any idea how to make the game work?

Also, since I have 125% scalling, I had to put my screen resolution in conf.ini to 1536 X 864 since the game is not correctly making the game in full 1080p by itself like other games.

thank you

PS: Can you work on a hotfix for people running Windows 10? I think it could be appreciated by everyone.

Hi :),

I really don't know how to make IL- 2: 1946 run on Windows 10. I don't even have Windows 10, but there may be a better way around things. Please have a look at this page:

, maybe You'll find out that it contains a few ideas that can solve your problems permanently :).

I recently decided to reinstall this sim on my Win10 system. Never could get it to work. I set up a Steam account and paid the $9.99 for the game and installed it that way. It runs perfectly. In fact, it never ran better than it does now.
