Cliff's of Dover will be updated by installing the sequel over it. yay!
 

Luthier said in dev questions: "The next time it will be updated is when you install the sequel over it."
Once updated with a final patch, Clod can be updated by installing the sequel over it, just like the updating of old :)

He did say there will be one more patch before that. I think he meant that there will be a final patch and then after that there will only be updates to CloD if you buy the sequel.

You're wrong.
First released the official patch. It will be the last.
Then the sequel and the new update.

i dont believe that that would be too mean, i cant even start the game now due to launcher chrashes

So you have to buy the sequel to get CLOD updated then - - - NOT GOOD.

you have to buy the alpha-CLOD sequel to have an updated beta-CLOD

Go to google Put in" Launcher stopped working on Cliffs of Dover"
Then Visit Steam Forum Theres a thread on this problem.
It will Tell you which Files to remove in Steam.
I followed instrructions and i don,t get this problem any more.
You will have to launch Steam before you start Clod But it all works perfectly now.

Well I will not be buying anything from these bunch of cowboys.To be disappointed repeatedly has left me with a sour taste in my mouth and being British I am absolutely disgusted with the way the Battle of Britain has been treated and this is the final straw.
That is all I have to say on the subject.
