Where are Save game files locate in Vista?
 

I've searched everywhere for an hour. Program Files 86 has only the Cryostasis executable file. No save game files.

In fact, where are all the rest of the files for this game? Surely it has more than just the main executable.

Possible you just think your seeing an exe file in the ':\Program Files (x86)\505games\1C' file because its got its own icon instead of the standard folder icon. Looks like an executable or something but it's actually a folder like any other. That confused me the first time.
Go further into ':\Program Files (x86)\505games\1C\Cryostasis' and it's all there for me. Then go into the '\Data' folder there and there's a '\Save' folder.

My saves are in program files\505games\1c\Cryostasis\data\save

You're right Pepper. It is a folder. I never tried to click it because I thought it would start the game. lol

This may be a stupid question, but I don't see:

program files\505games\1c\Cryostasis\data\save

Instead I have:

C:\Program Files\Aspyr\Cryostasis\Data\Save

Am I missing something? I'd like to import a saved game since I patched the game after chapter 12, but don't want to start all over since the patch won't play any of my existing saves, nor does the game recognize saves I downloaded and put in C:\Program Files\Aspyr\Cryostasis\Data\Save.

Please help!

This folder path is correct too, you simply have the US release instead of European one (another publisher, Aspyr).
