Brief description of the patch 4.15.1

Il-2 Sturmovik: 1946

v4.15.1

Warning

This version 4.15.1 is not compatible with previous versions when playing online. For compatibility when playing over the network, the server and the game must be the same version.

Attention: Version 4.15.1 is intended to be installed only on top of the merged version of the simulator (FB+AEP+PF+46) updated to versions 4.15.

Additional information for installing the add-on version 4.15.1
(Please read carefully)

The version 4.15.1 for the game "IL-2: Sturmovik" has to be installed only on top of the update version 4.15.

In order to install this add-on, run the file IL2_4151_MULTI.exe and follow the on-screen instructions.

Please note that this add-on is impossible to install over standalone Pacific Fighters.

-Java8u333 version updates to Java8u351
-The animation of the throttle stick has been fixed in the cockpit of the D.520 aircraft
-Incorrect selection of skins from the date in the mission has been fixed for P-38 series aircraft
-For the He.177A-3 aircraft, the HUD inscription has been corrected when the engine is afterburned.
-Fixed the operation of the vertical arrow of the AFN-2 device for the He.177A-3 aircraft
-Fixed the Ju.52 aircraft hanging when the crew jumps out on parachutes for some weapons loads
-Fixed the operation of the bomb sight in Coop missions for He-111 series aircraft
-In the full editor, the routing of ships on large maps has been fixed

since updated to 4.15m the game does not start.

windows 10

All previous versions (4.14.1 and 4.13.4) works pefectly.

I have opened this Zip several times with different apps and the game will not start, it's rolls back to 4.15 with that patch reapplied and runs, but this one I get the cursor acknowledging I hit a .exe but nothing happens.

Yes, it can be a pain to find the right setup to match your system! I found the DSOAL_XP wrapper worked best for me, giving the best EAX support, running Windows 10 with Realtek sound.

Otherwise, if you read the 4.15 Release thread you may find your solution there.

Very clever guys.
Why not?
There's nothing that restricts IL-2 from running on a network share.
And so far (prior to the dreaded 4.15 release) there was nothing that would keep it from being installed there either.
WT...?
