Need Help; Nuts
For some reason, all I have left to do is "protect transports". I have a location flag still up, but when I fly to it, it does nothing.
Someone posted to kill the ground targets, but I have no bombs, so I've tried shooting them, but that's just impossibly hard with this stall machine I'm flying. What's up with this mission? |

I finished it. It was terrible. Trying to kill those ground targets with guns was awful.

And incidentally, the P51-D is the hardest and most frustrating plane yet. That thing will stall tremendously easy. I feel like I can barely pull up with it.
I've heard that it was a high altitude performer, and obviously not a TAB style plane, but this is just a little ridiculous. Is that really how that plane flew? So incredibly frustrating. |
If it's the mission I think it is.. you're not supposed to use your guns to destroy the targets, if you know what I mean

like riceball said, just hang back and dont go dogfighting, unless it is to get an enemy of the transports' 6 When you are supposed to kill the targets... you can just use your guns |

Many many many people are complaining about the performance of the US planes, so hopefully the devs will do something about it |

Watch it, he'll start rambling about Mordor any minute now.

This level is ridiculous. I've been flying in circles following the transports for ten mins with no fighters left. What the hell? Where and what are these ground targets?
|
Here's the trick. Follow the bombers close to the flags until they check off. Don't hit the fighters until you get the option to check out the 3 different flags (you'll know what I mean when it happens). Then all bets are off and you're fine. If you don't follow the bombers close and they get to the city before you and you're too far away, the level gets all messed up and you can't get the checkpoints.
I had to restart it. |
