Is anyone playing online?
 

After a week of trying, I finally got an online game last night - I've tried ranked games, player games both on 'any' settings and had no luck in finding a game...

I finally found one last night and it had FOUR people in it. I can't believe that people aren't playing it online so what the heck's going on?

Anyone else having the same problems?

The game browser does not show games in progress only those waiting to start. Start up your own and people join.
Although saying that there arent many people online right now, last nights 11 player game was the biggest I've seen so far.

Are you on a 360 ?

If so post your gamertag, I play in a party all night and I'll invite you in if you want. We play all game modes with realistic settings. There is normally 10-12 of us.

This game is great online once you can find some good people to play with.

people will be boosting using private matches to unlock planes.
but host one, they will come.

I'm sure there will be people like me who are trying to complete the single player before going online too.

Count one more in that stage, probably won't finish any time soon...
However the expectations with online play are very high, with the original IL2 PC i don't think I actually ended any campaign, focus was 100% on online play.

okay I'm on ps3 and my PSN: The_-_Professor if your on ps3 hit me up with friend invite and we will play i'm in rroms ranging from 4 to 16 depening on time zones too go up to suggestions to dev and request they put host rooms that are in progess so we can join them and maybe enough requests they will hook us up alot of people are beating the 1stplayer to get used to it before heading into battle with real life users also i'm just using arcade right now b/c i don't have the flight stick yet

Aye that's the problem, unlike COD4 / COD WaW you can't join games in progress. people spend much more time in-game than in-lobby, so you have to be lucky to be searching for the right game type at the time a lobby is open.

I've been playing in parties with Yossarian and House etc tonight. Usually the minimum was 8 players.

I've been playing a bit today. (Work sucks!) so I haven't been online much this week.

I'm looking for sim players as well. I'm pretty new to it, but I've been doing OK so far. Plus I won't crash if (when) I take hits. I'd much prefer to try to land.
